| Dial My Calls | An automated calling system used to communicate information to parents. Make sure your contact phone number is up to date so that you receive important information in a timely matter. | All |
| Drop off-am | Students are to be dropped off in the mornings in the church basement. Drop off begins at 7:00 am. The children are supervised (at no cost) until they are dismissed by class to their teachers (around 7:40 am). | All |
| Morning Gathering | Each morning the students gather in the school hallway for morning prayer, pledge of allegiance and various announcements. | All |
| Lunch | Hot lunch is provided daily by Anderson Community School. Payment for lunch is made to St. Ambrose School in supplied envelopes. Lunch times vary by class. Visitors are welcome, but are asked to let the school secretary know in advance to order additional lunches. Lunches may be brought from home. No outside "commercial" food is permitted. | All |
| Pickup-pm | After school pickup occurs outside @ 2:45 pm. Parents are requested to park and get out of vehicles to get the children. The children must shake hands with the teacher before being released. In the case of bad weather, the children are released inside the school at the classroom doors. | All |
| Kid Mail | Kid mail is a way for parents to communicate through the kids. Simply put the items into the communication folder and mark it “To: Name of Student via Kid Mail". The teachers will remove the item and deliver it to the proper student. | All |

| Back to School Night | Event sponsored by the Parent Club to welcome the kids back to school. Includes fun, food, and information for students and parents. | All |
| Meet the Teacher Night | Evening event for parents only. This night gives the parents an opportunity to meet the teacher and learn what types of things their student will be learning during the school year. | All |
| Open House | This event allows parents and friends to visit the school and classrooms. Often this is combined with the fundraising Chili Supper, sponsored by the Parent Club. | All |
| Physical Education Day | Held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kids must wear tennis shoes on these days. | P4-6 |

| After School Care | YMCA sponsored child care in the basement of St. Ambrose Church after school until 6:00 pm. Additional fees apply. | All |
| Rainbows for all God's Children | This is an after school activity held twelve weeks of the school year for our students who have suffered change in their lives due to death or divorce. Students are transported to St. Mary's and parents pick them up there at 4:00 pm. Children in our after school program can stay at St. Mary's until parent pick up. | All |

| Uniform Exchange | Gently worn uniforms are stored at St. Ambrose throughout the year. Sales are held at various functions. Donations are always welcome, just send them to the school attention to: Karen Scofield. | All |
| Ink Cartridge Recycling | Printer ink cartridges accepted to raise funds for St. Ambrose Science Club. Drop them off in a marked box near the office. | All |
| Paper Recycling | Recycling bins for paper (white and newspaper) and magazines is located in the parking lot. Funds raised assist the St. Ambrose Science Club. | All |
| Pop Tabs | Pop tabs are collected for the Ronald McDonald House. Please turn in at least 100 tabs at a time. Send via Kids Mail. | All |

| Scrip | All families are asked to participate in the Scrip program. Gift cards can be purchased for food, gasoline, clothing and entertainment and half the proceeds ("discount amount" on form) go to the school families for tuition relief. The other half goes to the church for school expenses. Cards can be purchased at the School or Parish Offices. You may charge your purchases at the Parish Office. | All |
